Learning Outcomes
- A legal studies minor will understand that鈥痩egal鈥痵ystems and their outcomes can be influenced by the demographic profiles of the participants, not limited to race, class, sex, gender, religion, sexual orientation, geographical location, physical and mental health.
- A鈥痩egal鈥痵tudies鈥痬inor will be capable of identifying and comprehending how the law is an instrument for resolving grievances, imposing punishment, promoting public good, public benefit, and equality, and enforcing regulation.
- A legal studies minor will understand how鈥痩egal鈥痯ractitioners can use鈥痩egal鈥痗oncepts and language to support different positions, and will be capable of researching, reading, and writing about鈥痩egal鈥痗oncepts and applying that research to hypothetical鈥痩egal鈥痵cenarios.
