Campus parking will be available all weekend. You are welcome to park anywhere you see Faculty, Staff, and Guest parking signs, however most of our Family Weekend programming will take place on Middle Campus.

Local Events
Listed below are an assortment of local events happening during Family Weekend. We urge you to explore our community and those nearby, as well as take advantage of being a short ride away from Chicago.

The Lake Bluff Farmer’s Market provides live music, children’s entertainment, and a wide range of vendors.
- Date: Saturday, September 21
- Time: 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
- Location: Gorton Community Center, 400 E Illinois Road, Lake Forest, IL
At this event, ten chefs will compete for the award of Best Burger, judged by three celebrity judges: Blackhawks Hockey legend Jeremy Roenick, Adam Busby from the TLC series "OutDaughtered," and celebrity chef Beau MacMillan. Nick Rockwell will DJ the event, and there will be several drink and food stations.
Discounted tickets are . The price per student is $30, and the price per parent/family member/employee is $80. Ticket includes all food and beverage and is discounted from the regular price of $125.

Citadel's production will be the first of that comedy since its Broadway engagement in 2023, where it was directed by Jason Alexander and starred Eric McCormack. THE COTTAGE was written by Sandy Rustin, who grew up in Glenview and graduated from Northwestern University. Surprising and hilarious web of secrets unravels in this ridiculously funny romantic comedy.

Visit and catch the final weekend of special exhibition Georgia O’Keeffe: “My New Yorks” featuring the iconic artist’s little-known but spectacularly dynamic renderings of a rapidly developing New York City.

Get ready for an explosive burst of color in the Central States Dahlia Show Society Show, open until 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday that feature 16 total displays using nearly 1,000 dahlia blooms ranging in size from a silver dollar to a dinner plate.
