Career Resources for Current Students

We help our students gain the skills and experiences they need to pursue their passions. Through the CAC, students can access these resources and more: 

  •  to meet with a career advisor virtually or in-person on the second floor of Brown Hall
  • Drop-in at Career Express Advising Mondays-Thursdays from 11:30a.m.-12:30p.m., no appointment required
  • Find free professional clothing and get a LinkedIn photo taken at our Forester Career Closet in Deerpath Hall during weekly drop-in hours or by appointment
  • Reserve an interview room in Brown Hall by emailing careers@lakeforest.edu

Our Gorter Family Career Advancement Center in newly-renovated Brown Hall honors a generous donation ensuring the strength of our career preparation for years to come.

The education students receive at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û sets them apart as competitive candidates with writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills.

At Lake Forest all students are required to apply their liberal arts skills by completing an experiential learning opportunity, such as an internship or summer fellowship.

Lake Forest has been recognized for its institutional focus on career preparation by the Chronicle of Higher Education.
